Description
The guardian angel from Skultuna is attributed to Carl-Einar Borgström, who designed it in the 40s as a protective symbol during difficult times. Carl-Einar Borgström (born in Ystad 1914 - 1981) was a sculptor educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, he designed a wide range of products, mainly for the defunct Ystad Metall. The guardian angel is gilded and therefore needs no polishing with anything other than a damp cloth from time to time to maintain its luster over the years.
Never leave candles unattended and make sure to blow them out before they reach the candle holder. Keep in mind that some surfaces may be extra sensitive to heat. Take extra caution if you are unsure of the qualities of the table top.
Design – Carl-Einar Borgström
Material – Silver Plated Brass
