Description

Oscar Merner is a Swedish artist who today primarily works with painting and sculpture.

In his art, Oscar Merner creates fictional characters taken from the world of fairy tales and fantasy, where the line between dream and reality is very thin.

Inspired by Jan Lööf's detailed visual worlds and Hergé's iconic adventures, he has developed his own design language filled with storytelling and imagination.

For Skultuna, Oscar Merner has created two fantastic figures in this style; Spicy Lady and Salt Butler. Both are cast in pewter and are perfect as containers for salt or other spices.
