With Charles IX wanted Frederick of Klercker combining four centuries of craftsmanship with timeless elegance. The softly curved tonneau shape, inspired by classic iconic models created in the early 20th century, gives the watch a classic yet confident character. The name comes from the French word for thin, a shape that symbolizes both strength and harmony. The numbers on the dial are taken from a traditional clock, a tribute to Skultuna's roots.
The model is named after Skultuna's founder, Charles IX. Fredrik af Klercker wanted Carolus IX to represent the best of Swedish and European tradition: a watch for life, created to be worn with the same ease with a tuxedo as on the beach.
